After your initial consultation, when all your questions have been answered and you are comfortable with the treatment plan, your informed consent will be obtained. Expect to have your photograph taken to record your baseline image and celebrate your improvement. Your photographs will be kept in your file with the same strict confidentiality as the rest of your medical records.
The intimate area is understandably sensitive. With that in mind, Dr. Jane takes the utmost care to ensure you are comfortable.
Initially, the specialized formulation of aspireMD comfort cream is applied. Prior to treatment, you are cleansed with an aseptic cleanser. Dr. Jane will inject a small amount of Lidocaine anesthetic into the treatment area to ensure your complete comfort.
In addition to comfort, an added safety feature of Dr. Jane’s procedure is the use of a cannula to float the HA (Hyaluronic Acid), Dermal Filler and/or PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) product where it is of most benefit to restore the private area's supporting matrix.
- You may resume your normal activities immediately after your procedure.
- The treated area may be somewhat swollen and tender for a few days.
- It is recommended to refrain from intense exercise (spinning, running) and sexual activity for 48 hours.
- PRP produces its best results with monthly injections for three months.
- Dermal fillers typically last 1-2 years in this area.
